摘要:
The direct introduction of solid samples (air filters) to the inductively coupled plasma source of an atomic emission spectrometer using a furnace atomizer has been studied. Conditions have been found for the analysis of elements which volatilize with varyling degrees of difficulty. Lead, copper and vandaium compounds retained on glass fibre filters from air pollution studies have been determined. The results are in good agreement with those obtained by means of established sample dissolution/atomic emision methods.

摘要:
Absorption spectra behind the incident shock wave in a gas mixture of SiCl4:Ar were investigated. Two systems of SiCl: B2σ+−X2π and B12Δ-X2σ molecular bands were revealed. The continuous absorption in the range of 300–345 nm is assigned to the spectrum of SiCl2. The B2π+−X2π and B12Δ-X2π electronic transition strengths of the SiCl molecule were determined from the absolute intensity mensurements. The following, values viere obtained:

Synthesis and IR spectrum of iron (II), benzylpenicillin complexe are reported. The alterations observed between the ligand and iron complexe IR spectra allow us to specify the coordination modes. The benzylpenicillin is bounded to iron through carboxylate group and thazolidinic nitrogen.

摘要:
In a photoacoustic1measurement, radiation is normally passed onto an absorbing sample, and one observes changes in the sample's properties or the effects they induce elsewhere. The sample itself is the prime sensor, and basically what is measured is the net energy transfer between sample and source. In practice, the source is made “hot,” i. e., a much stronger emitter than the sample. In principle, the source and detector are interchangeable, in terms of emittance or location, and also sometimes in practice. For example, infrared emission spectra of minerals were measured with hot (40°C) samples and a cold (30°C) detector2and also with cold (20°C) samples and a hot (24°C) detector3.

摘要:
Matrix effects in plasma spectroscopy have been measured in a simulated biological substrate. The authors show comparisons of such effects using both inductively coupled and direct current plasmas. The matrix influences are much more pronounced in direct current plasmas, but are also present when dealing with alkali metals in inductively coupled plasmas as well. The latter finding represents a particularly significant finding because it points the way to a method of determining alkali metals at levels of parts per billion.

摘要:
The sensitization effect in the IR-F spectroscopy by addition of SF6was investigated in case of acetone as a sample. We kept the partial pressure of acetone constant, varied that of SF6, and investigated the variations of the degree of sensitization. The experimental data shows that the degree of sensitization increases steeply and is saturated as the partial pressure of SF6becomes higher. The results were examined in terms of the kinetics of the intra-and intermolecular energy transfer involved in the emission of infrared radiation in question.

The conformations of halogenated 1,4-dioxanes have generally been studied by X-ray diffraction1,2in order to obtain values for the ring dihedral angles. The simple and widely used R value technique3,4requires two vicinal coupling constants, J-transand J-cis, and is not useable when only one vicinal J value results, as in the halogenated dioxanes1–5and dihydrodioxins7–9listed in Tables 1 and 2.

摘要:
Analysis of the N-H1H-NMR chemical shifts of the monomethyl esters of bilirubin-IIIα, IXα and XIIIα reveals a preference in CDCl3for folded conformations in which the unesterified propionic acid carboxyl group is intramolecularly H-bonded to the opposing pyrromethenone unit. The remaining pyrromethenone unit may be weakly intramolecularly H-bonded to the propionic ester carbomethoxy group.
