摘要:

Attenuation due to the presence of trees and woods in the vicinity of transmitting and receiving antennas for terrestrial television service have been summarized and used for predicting and theoretically calculating the same in case of a domestic Satellite Communication System. Suggestions have been made for modifying the design of receiving system.

The equation of refractive index for whistler mode propagation in drifting magnetoplasma derived by Agarwal1is considered for large values of Z, an expression for the complex refractive index being derived. To a first approximation, it is found that the imaginary part of the refractive index is unaffected by the imposed magnetic field, while the real part depends on the longitudinal component of the field.

In this paper a study of effect of neural pulse frequency modulation (NPFM) on feedback systems is attempted. The overall system is discretized and a non-linear discrete equivalence of a NPFM feedback system is obtained. It is also shown that NPFM systems exhibit periodic oscillations and conditions for the existence of periodic oscillations in NPFM systems are obtained using the non-linear discrete equivalence. A method of implementation of a neural pulse frequency modulator as well as a few experimental results are presented.

摘要:

Probability of occurrence of all symbols of Devnagari script in Hindi is computed and the entrony and redundancy of Hindi language is reported. It is found that Hindi is less redundant and more efficient than English The present Devnagari script because of its phonetic nature and a large number of symbols (57) is not very efficient from the view point of telegraphic transmission, hence a modified script having only 42 symbols is hereby proposed and it is hoped that this modified script will be suitable for use by all major Indian languages.
