摘要:

Rhesus monkeys experimentally infected with Borna disease virus exhibit multifocal inflammatory lesions in the peripapillary pigment epithelium of the retina. Apart from the mild intermediate uveal inflammation, the retinal pigment epithelium of the posterior pole suffers the initial damage. Progressive multifocal perivascular choroiditis indicates ongoing immunological events.
