摘要:

Summary.After an introductory review of the activating effects of cyanide on cell respiration described in the literature, the authors report a similar effect with yeast cells, which under certain conditions show a strong increase in oxygen uptake under the action of cyanide. The possible interpretations of the phenomenon are briefly discussed.
