摘要:

The apparent discrepancy in the final horizontal velocity viz. 0 and 2ωh=ωgT2is removed by noting that in my description, the final velocity (relative to the space fixed axes) isV̄=ḡTdownwards, which possess the small componentVsin θ=Vθ=ωgT2for θ small, as the required transverse velocity component in the rotated axes.
