摘要:

AbstractHeat treated rapeseed meal, processed by the ExPro technique, and ordinary double low rapeseed meal were compared in a feeding experiment with dairy cows. The heat treatment of the ExPro meal had decreased the effective protein degradation of the rapeseed meal by 26 units from 72% to 46%. Two levels of crude protein of the concentrate were obtained by mixing either 25 or 8% treated and untreated meal with grain. The experiment covered one lactation period. Significant treatment effects were reached both for protein level and protein degradability. At low protein level there were significant higher milk yield and protein production for the cows fed with the heat treated ExPro meal. The reduction of protein degradability in rapeseed meal by heat treatment makes a reduced feed nitrogene input possible without a negative effect on milk production. The use of the heat treated ExPro meal lowers the nitrogene load on the cows and the nitrogene pollution, factors which will have a positive influence on health, fertility and environment.
