ABSTRACTA case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma is reported. Due to the histological features of cellular pleomorphism and myxoid degeneration seen also in other soft tissue sarcomas (rhabdomyosarcoma, liposarcoma), differential diagnosis was difficult. However, electron microscopic studies led to a distinct diagnosis of malignant fibrous histiocytoma.
