In a prospective randomised study we tested two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications clinically in a group of 40 eyes. 20 eyes received topically administered indometacin and another 20 flurbiprofen eyedrops. Before we started the planned extracapsular cataract extraction we performed a puncture of the anterior chamber and aspirated a small volume of anterior chamber fluid.
