摘要:

The effect of Gamma radiation on the degradation of the (M–O) bond of some divalent acetylacetonate complexes was followed by IR spectrophotometry. The rate of degradation, K(M–O), obeyed a first order kinetics. The obtained K(M–O) of the different metal acetylacetonate complexes are found to be linearly increase by the increase in the atomic radii of the complexed cations.
