AbstractThe tribe Palyadini Guenée is revised at the generic level. It includes about 115 described species, and occurs in tropical America with representatives from Florida to Argentina. There are six genera:PalyasGuenée,PhrygionisHübner,PityejaHerrich‐Schäffer,ArgyrotomeWarren,OpisthoxiaHübner, and a new genusOphthalmoblysis. OphthalmophoraGuenée andArgyroplutodesWarren are treated as junior synonyms ofOpisthoxia.Checklists of the species‐group names in each genus are
