摘要:

The future study of quark flavors, including CP violation, requires new generations of collidinge+e−machines. The current proposed &fgr;, (charm, &tgr;) andB¯Bfactories should reach luminosities of 1033–3×1033cm−2sec−1. Future generations of machines must exceed 1034cm−2sec−1luminosity. We describe new collider concepts that have been put forward for these machines. The UCLA &fgr; Factory project is described and is planned to serve as a test bed for some of the new concepts.
