ABSTRACT:Twenty‐three women who sought out prenatal (22) and parenting (23) classes scored in the normal range for physical complaints, ego strength, depression, anxiety, and the lie scale of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) at an average of 3.5 months postpartum, and had improved scores overall when tested again six weeks later.
