SummaryThis work describes an investigation into the speech of three articulatory disordered children using the instrumental techniques of electropalatography and pneumotachography. Quantitative data on tongue dynamics and VOT are presented for each child and advantages of instrumental analyses over more conventional forms of assessment are indicated.
