&NA;Since the passage of the ADA, issues unforeseen by the sponsors and proponents of this legislation have arisen. Issues such as definition and documentation of disability and access to standardized testing are being played out across the country with mixed results. Key to these arguments is the definition of who has a disability and what is a reasonable accommodation. In higher education. the issues tend to center around whether a reasonable accommodation has, indeed, been provided.
