摘要:
AbstractAlthough the central nervous system is critically involved in the regulation of blood pressure, the relationship of anxiety to hypertension remains unclear. However, anxiety is closely related to various habits that affect the cardiovascular system: diet, weight, alcohol, eating and drinking, cigarette smoking, caffeine and life events. There is a high prevalence of mitral valve prolapse in subjects with anxiety disorders, but there is little evidence for a common genetic factor. A number of psychosocial factors are significantly related to the individual risk of CHD and the Type A behavior pattern (TABP) relates certain personality and behavioral characteristics that are important in this respect.
