摘要:

5-(3-Hydroxyphenyl)pentanoic acid(1)and 5-(3-methoxyphenyl)pentanoic acid(2)were isolated from the roots ofAthyrium yokoscenseas natural products. The biosynthetic pathway of1and2can be explained in terms of directm-hydroxylation of benzoic acid.
