Two new species of the genusAnisopappusHook.&Arn. (Asteraceae) are describedA. athanasioidesPaiva&Ortiz, from Angola, andA. pseudopinnatifidusOrtiz&Paiva, from Namibia. The morphological variability of theA. chinensia‐A. africanuscomplex is studied and two new combinations are proposed:A. chinensissubsp.africanus(Hook. fil.) Ortiz&Paiva andA. chinensissubsp.lobatus(Wild) Ortiz&Paiv
