SUMMARYThe full nature of recurrence is discussed, but in the main it is taken as meaning exacerbation or persistence of the disease after conventional therapy with irradiation and/or cytotoxics such as MOPP, meaning that MOPP would follow a radiotherapy “recurrence”.Exacerbation after remission induced by MOPP could conceivably be retreated with MOPP.
