The preoperative evaluation of a patient with tubal disease has become a well-accepted indication for laparoscopy. An additional indication in the surgical management of tubal infertility is described. After fimbrioplasty, a Mulligan Hood was removed through the laparoscope 4 months after its placement. When possible, this method of removal avoids an additional laparotomy thereby shortening patient hospitalization and decreasing the possibility of postoperative adhesions.
