AbstractDie Umsetzung von 1.2‐Diphenyl‐äthylamin‐hydrochlorid mit Natriumnitrit in Wasser/Dioxan (3 : 7) liefert 1.2‐Diphenyl‐äthanol (74–77%),trans‐Stilben (12–13%) und Desoxy‐benzoin (1–2%). Wie mit Hilfe von 1.2‐Diphenyl‐äthylamin‐1‐d gezeigt wird, entstehen diese Produkteo
