SYNOPSISTwo populations of patients, one with common migraine and the other with mitral valve prolapse (MVP), were analyzed to define the relationship between these conditions. Of 100 consecutive patients with migraine, 20 had MVP; of 100 consecutive patients with MVP, 51 suffered from migraine headache. As for features of migraine are concerned, the patients with MVP‐migraine association did not significantly differ from the patients with migraine alone.
