摘要:

The focus of this analogue investigation involved examination of the effects of modeling and social class structuring on certain dispositional (attraction) and in-therapy (empathy and warmth) behaviors for a group of potential paraprofessional psychotherapists. Both modeling and social class structuring, considered separately, had only moderate effects on attraction, empathy, and warmth. However, the combined influence of modeling and structuring was significant across all three dependent variables. A number of implications of these findings are drawn for the recruitment, selection, and training of paraprofessional psychotherapists
