Bounds of the mean queue-length and the mean content are derived for queue and dam models, if only the following data are available: distribution of number of service processes and number of customer-arrivals or of input and output in time-intervals of fixed length. For ROGOZI's theorem on the optimality of the regular input constant service-times in the model GI/G/I a simple proof is given.
