Abstractm‐hydroxy‐α‐oximinopropiophenone was hydrogenated by tritium gas in the presence of Pd on carbon catalyst. The crude product was chromatographed on a cation‐exchange column. Two major peaks were obtained. Subsequent radio‐paper chromatography revealed that these peaks were identical with metaraminol and α‐methyl‐m‐tyramine respectively.
