ABSTRACTData were collected on the use of the Monterey Fluency Program by 102 British trained clinicians over a five‐year period with 107 clients who stuttered. Analysis of the data revealed that the clinicians had responded well to the training and used the programme efficiently and effectively. The 107 stutterers improved from 11.3 to .2 per cent stuttering after an average 7.2 hours of therapy.
