Magn.On shoots of various poplar clones, numbers of pustules were recorded in field susceptibility tests forMarssonina brunnea. Levels of infection in shoots do not necessarily reflect those of leaves. On shoots, the bases where early defoliation occurred are the parts most severely attacked.
