Traumatic brain injury is still a rapidly expanding field, particularly in relation to neuropsychiatry.Most current issues remain unresolved. Outcome and the influence of rehabilitation are clear, but prediction remains difficult. Issues under scrutiny are post-concussional syndrome and the validity of complaints after minor traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and the frequency of psychiatric disorders after traumatic brain injury, and neuropsychopharmacology in both prevention and treatment.
