SummaryThe cholesterolytic power of the blood serum of 18 patients without atherosclerotic disease and of 18 patients suffering from myocardial infarction or angina pectoris was determined. The results show that there is no difference between the cholesterolytic power of the serum of these two groups. Age seems not to influence this cholesterolytic power. The method can give unreliable results.
