摘要:
Iron isotopes are refining blood volume determinations, permitting differentiation of such problems as erythrocytosis and reduced plasma volume; they help identify sources of occult bleeding and make possible in vivo cross-matching in difficult cases. Cobalt-labeled vitamin B12facilitates study of deficiency states. These are but a few examples of the varied contributions nuclear medicine is making to the hematologist's diagnostic tools.
