AbstractThe main objective of this work is to demonstrate the expression of salt tolerance genes in a wheat‐Agropyronamphiploid. Salt tolerance tests were carried out on wheat varieties, ‘Chinese Spring,’ and ‘Glenn‐son 81’ the amphiploid between ‘Chinese Spring’ andA. junceum, A. junceumand amphiploid × wheat hybrids, Apart from germination in petridishes all other tests were carried out on plants grown in saline hydroculture tanks.
