&NA;The Memory Enhancement Program has been developed to support people who do not need to live in a secured Alzheimer's unit but do need more support than is commonly found in traditional assisted living communities. This article describes the program and gives the results of two pilot programs that have had a positive effect on people with early Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment.
