Engineers and scientists are becoming aware of the contributions they can make to society and of their responsibility to make these contributions. Global modeling offers a good introduction to problems of society and to solid technical challenges which can appeal to engineering students. Since many engineering professors are not well acquainted with global modeling, we have identified and report here the best possible references, models and accompanying computer programs, and simulation games. With these, teachers may become sufficiently familiar with the field to develop courses and collect resource materials for the students
