Summary:Plasma Dopamine‐β‐Hydroxylase activity (DBH) has been determined in a group of healthy controls and sixteen patients with spinal cord injury. The mean value for the activity of the enzyme was found to be significantly lower in the patient population. It is suggested that the reduced DBH activity in the paraplegics and quadriplegics is a reflection of their disordered sympathetic nerve func
