摘要:

Growth features of the aggregates including surface diffusion processes are studied by the Monte Carlo simulations on two‐dimensional square lattice. Anisotropy of dendritic pattern changes from ⟨10⟩ direction to ⟨11⟩ one depending on the surface diffusion mechanism. Homogenous diffusion‐limited aggregation (DLA) grows in the crossover domain between two anisotropies. Results indicate that the random tip‐splitting mechanism of the hottest tips is necessary to hold the homogeneity and self‐similarity of DLA pattern.
