摘要:
SummaryA study, using the Purdue Farm cardiac study questionnaire, was made of health attitudes and compliance with therapeutic advice of 18 high work-oriented (HW) and 10 low work-oriented (LW) patients among a group of 41 patients with myocardial infarction. Findings partially supported the three hypotheses that 1) HW patients will be more likely to have negative attitudes toward health care; 2) HW patients will be less likely to comply with therapeutic advice during hospitalization; and 31 HW patients will be less likely to comply with therapeutic advice following hospitalization.
