Paxillibracon inornatussp.n. from Tanzania is described, illustrated and distinguished fromPaxillibracon tessmanni(Szépligeti), the only other known species of the genus. The scapus, antennal sockets, features of the venation and metasomal sculpture of P.inornatussp.n. reinforce the earlier interpretation thatPaxillibraconis derived from close to the base of theAtanycolusFoerster group of genera
