摘要:

The termiteKalotermes flavicollisshows characteristic vibratory movements, identifiable as complex vibratory movements (CVMs) and as longitudinal vibratory movements (LVMs) whose function could be to produce acoustic signals. This hypothesis is supported by SEM observations which indicate the presence of characteristic cuticular cuspids.
