Abstract.Eight new species of Clambidae from Sulawesi (Celebes), and two new species and a new subspecies from Borneo and Sumatra are described. The emerging distribution patterns reflect the long‐standing isolation of Sulawesi from the rest of the Sunda Islands and from the Asian continent.
