&NA;The relative frequencies of various dermatoglyphic features have been reviewed for chromosomal disorders. When combined with other clinical features of a particular disease, dermatoglyphics can serve to strengthen a diagnostic impression and may be useful in screening select individuals for additional diagnostic studies.
