This paper presents closed-form expressions for the infinite series for theAloci of a transfer function. The method involves a comparison of the frequency response and time domain analysis methods for a general relay system. The results are used to evaluateAloci for transfer functions with complex poles and an example illustrates their use in determining the stability boundary of a relay system.
