摘要:

Trichotowithius abyssinicusBeier 1944, a bark-inhabiting pseudoscorpion from Ethiopia, is re-described from near-topotypes, withTrichotowithius elgonensisBeier 1955, known from Kenya, being its subjective junior synonym (syn. nov.!). Judged from a whole set of generic characters, including its genital structure, the now monobasic genusTrichotowithiusBeier 1944, appears to be well isolated amongst the withiidae.
