CORNER, E. J. H., 1992.The pachychalaza in dictoyledons: primitive or advanced?Reasons for regarding pachychalazy as an advanced seed character are restated and found to disagree with the recent postulate of von Teichman&van Wyk that pachychalazy is primitive for the dicotyledonous seed.
