SUMMARYThe work of the occupational therapists and the music therapist at the Child Development Centre, Addenbrookes' Hospital, Cambridge, is briefly described, as well as the Child Development Centre itself. A music group for parents and their young children, run jointly by the music therapist and one of the occupational therapists, is looked at in detail. The structure of the group and the various ways in which the children and the parents are helped through the music are explained.
