JULY, 1951 Vol. 76, No. 904 Addendum* to Report No. 137 of the Essential Oils Sub-committee of the Analytical Methods Committee THE DETERMINATION OF ESTERS THE Analytical Methods Committee has received from the Essential Oils Sub-Committee3 the following Addendum to their Report No. 13, ‘‘ The Determination of Esters ” (A~alyst, 1937, 62, 541), and its publication has been duly authorised. ADDENDUM Twenty millilitres of distilled water shall be added to the contents of the flask after saponification and before titration; a similar addition shall be made to the blank.
