ABSTRACTProtein‐losing enteropathy in the Lundehund, a possible hereditary disease, characterized clinically by intermittent diarrhoea, vomiting, wasting, ascites and oedema, is described. Serum examinations revealed low values of protein and calcium.Post‐mortem changes consisted of thickened duodenal and jejunal mucosa with blunt, short, anastomosing villi and plasma cell infiltration.
