摘要:

A solution is given for the stress field in a large solid containing an imperfectly conducting, penny-shaped crack. The heat flux between the crack faces is assumed to be proportional to the local temperature difference. It is shown that the shear stress on the crack plane depends only upon the average temperature of one crack surface. Numerical results are obtained for the case in which the crack obstructs an otherwise uniform heat flux.
