Developments in the field of cognitive therapy continue apace.A number of treatm194ent trials comparing the benefits of cognitive therapy to routine care or a waiting list control situation were published. These papers suggested that cognitive therapy can be an efficient and acceptable treatment for patients with neurotic or psychotic disorders.
