In today's world of high technology most medical teachers have at their disposal video equipment and computers to assist them with their teaching and improve student learning. There is however still a place for the tape/slide programme and a great need for guidelines to assist teachers who wish to design and produce their own tapelslide material. This paper offers some helpful hints learned the hard way—from experience.
