Dr. Caudill was one of the organizers of the 1973 Wenner-Gren Symposium on Cultural and Social Influences in Infancy and Early Childhood. He died before he could participate in it. The conference was dedicated to his honor. The following article is based on an appreciation of his work by some of the conference participants.
