Heat Flow in the Underground Environment of an Indoor Heated Swimming Pool

摘要:
A network of temperature and heat flux sensors has been installed beneath and adjacent to an indoor, heated swimming pool, installation taking place prior to and during construction. Results obtained during three years of operation are presented. It is shown that heat lost from the pool by ground conduction is a negligiby small fraction of the pool heating load.
